Factory A is a destructible, miscellaneous factory, added in v.1.7.0p11 of VTOL VR.
It is a structure similar in role to Storage Tent A, acting as a destructible target for objective or mission completion. The Factory features no defensive weapons, relying on friendly air defenses for its survival.
Factory A features limited protection against various forms of small arms, allowing it to survive multiple direct hits from weapons such as Hydra 70's or even GBU-39's. Cannons using a caliber smaller than 25mm, while capable of destroying a factory, need to expend a lot of ammunition to achieve that. However, larger munitions such as the GBU-38 or GBU-12 are capable of destroying the factory with a single strike.
