The MAD-4 Radar is the main target acquisition and fire control component of the enemy faction's MAD-4 system.
It is designed to work in conjunction with the MAD-4 Launcher to establish a deadly air defense presence in a large area. Designed to be a mobile system that can quickly relocate to another area if it is under threat, the MAD-4 radar features a collapsible radar station that can be quickly set up or stowed away for transport. It is unable to move and have its radar active at the same time.
The MAD-4 radar is notorious for being a very powerful radar system, capable of detecting, tracking, and locking onto targets from extremely long-ranges, similarly to the NMSS Cruiser's long-range radar. This radar is also compatible with older SAM Launcher's, providing them with more range than a standard SAM S/A Radar.
The radar signal can be identified as a 4 on any aircraft's radar warning receiver.
