This is a subcategory of Armament containing all of the IR-guided weapons in VTOL VR. These weapons use built-in thermal cameras to locate and track IR signatures. They can easily lock onto the distinctive heat signature of active fighter jets at close range, but can be occasionally fooled by IR flare countermeasures.
