This is a subcategory of Armament that contains all the optically-guided weapons in VTOL VR.
Weapons with optical guidance systems require a TGP lock for target designation and unlike laser guided weapons, optically guided weapons can track a target by themselves after launch. This mode is also known as "Fire-and-Forget" and allows the launching aircraft to engage multiple targets in quick succession or disengage from combat entirely.
