External Fuel Tanks

External Fuel Tanks are available for the F/A-26B, F-45A, AH-94, T-55 and EF-24G. They count towards the external fuel gauge and can be jettisoned. They cannot be refilled from aerial refueling, and are always consumed by the aircraft first.

Furthermore, they are most useful for long-range missions, especially when large-scale combat isn't an immediate priority (such as in mission 3 of the Operation: Desert Cobra campaign). Fly to the AO, jettison your tank(s), and commence your attack.

Every aircraft has their own unique external fuel tank, except for the F/A-26B and F-45A, who are both able to be equipped with the 2200L fuel tank.

The F/A-26B is capable of using both the 2200L and 4200L EFT.

The F-45A is capable of using the 2200L EFT.

The AH-94 has an optional 870L EFT.

The T-55 has an optional 1700L EFT.

The EF-24G has an optional 1100L EFT.

The AH-94, T-55 and EF-24G are the only aircraft whose livery UV's contain paintable external fuel tanks.
The texture of the external fuel tank of the AH-94 has a bit of an oddity, where only one side of it is properly paintable on the UV map. The other side of the tank is projected onto a spot on the underside of the helicopter.
