"A millimeter-wave radar housed and mounted over the main rotor. This radar can be used to scan land, sea and air to detect, track, and classify multiple targets."
― Equipment Description

The AN/APG-108 Fire Control Radar is an optional radar exclusively available to the AH-94.

Unlike conventional radars on fixed-wing aircraft, this radar features two target-searching modes: Ground (GND) and Air (AIR). It allows for quick target acquisition behind cover, allowing you to lock a target and either send GPS coordinates using the GPS-S button or slew it to the TADS directly.

Usage

The AN/AAQ-108 in ground scan mode.

The AN/AAQ-108 radar is capable of going out to a range of 8.5 nmi and can have its scan angle be manually adjusted 30° upwards and 30° downwards. By default, then scan angle is set to -7°.

It is capable of detecting targets as small as Infantry, if they are close enough to the radar. Targets marked by the radar will appear as orange bars on the radar display, and as green squares with a dot in the middle on the HUD.
